About Marcela
I am a 45 year old Colombian woman living in Los Angeles. I went to Law School in Colombia, at the time it seemed to be the right path to choose coming from a family of lawyers, but my real passion are animals and languages. So I currently work in the pet industry and teaching spanish.

I have a special passion for languages and was completely self taught in english at the age of 10 because I just wanted to be able to live in the States as an adult and be able to communicate and work. My teaching method is a combination of grammar, basic and direct conversation, discussion and reading. I'd also give you the freedom to choose a topic of interest and I'll do my research to put together the most important aspects to learn about that specific subject. Once I gather all the necessary elements for a substantial teaching class we'll set up a day and time to perform the lesson.
