About Greg
I’ve been playing the guitar since I was 10 years old so I’ve studied the instrument practically my whole life I have an extended diploma in music as well as passing my grade 8 for guitar, most of all i have experience playing in live bands and teaching, I feel I’m very good at what I do and now I have the experience and student success to back me up!

My teaching method is different depending on the level of the student however from beginner stage I feel it’s vitally important to just be able to play something simple from the get go! this will give you the encouragement and joy guitar playing should bring, then after developing the necessary skills and physical dexterity you need to play the guitar then I like to start with basic musicianship skills and basic theory you will need to continue on your journey, then as time progresses you will be able to improvise, work music out by ear and be able to read music tab notation and chord charts to a basic level that will ever be needed to work in a professional environment as a session or paid musician.
