About Trent
I moved to Japan for year 11 by myself and was sent to a small town in the Hyogo Prefecture where I was the only foreign student. After the year, I came back to Australia to graduate high school and went straight back to live between the snow fields and Tokyo for 2 years. I currently work as the international relations officer for MARQLEEN, a Japanese snowboard wear company, and go to Japan every year for exhibitions.

my first students were a set of brothers ages 8 and 10. So, the focus was on making things as fun as possible while making sure both of them retained the expected amount of knowledge before jumping on the trampoline at the end of each lesson.
My most recent pair is a 27 and 29 year old couple who are about to go and get engaged in Japan. The focus with them is less on fun and more about the core knowledge of the Japanese language, along with some conversational skills to use while they are over there. We work mostly out of the Genki text book
