About Jose
I am a native Spanish speaker originally from Honduras, I completed my education in the USA, I lived in the USA for 11 years and have lived in Honduras for 4 years. I have translated legal documents for family members and friends, practiced public speaking in Spanish for 6 years, grew up in a Spanish speaking household and community, as well as consistently traveling to other Spanish speaking countries like El Salvador, Guatemala, and Nicaragua. I have met people and made friends from many Spanish speaking countries like Spain, Mexico, Panama, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua, Cuba, Dominican Republic, Colombia, Ecuador, Venezuela, Peru, Chile, and also people from the Island of Puerto Rico.

In my experience with teaching Spanish, I have noticed that most people who have tried to learn Spanish in the past have gotten stuck or frustrated because of standardized methods that don’t work for everyone. With my method, I won’t “teach” you what you desire to learn, instead I will help you “acquire” what you wish to learn. Our brains aren’t designed to be programmed with book methods, we are natural beings that have brains which capture knowledge using logic. As a summary of my tutoring, I will start by getting to know your goals in learning Spanish, then analyze how your brain functions, and be able to understand how you learn as an individual, then we will start your new journey towards improving your Spanish skills at your own pace. I am not here to judge or scold you, I am here to support you in your journey and be patient with your learning pace.
REQUIREMENTS:

-have a deep desire to learn
-respect what I teach you
-be willing to put in the time and effort on your own!
-have a true purpose for wanting to grow.
Recommendations: Book at LEAST one session a week of consistent results, if you have the accessibility to book more than once a week then that’s even better for your progress!
