About Jason
I have been playing guitar since I was around 5 years old when my dad bought me my first acoustic guitar. My whole family are musical with the majority of them playing guitar so I very quickly found myself playing every day and that turned into performing at family and school concerts. As I got to high school I was really getting into playing rock which has been a passion that hasn't really gone away, however when I left school and went to university (BIMM) to study Popular Music Practise on guitar, I got into playing lots of other genres like blues, jazz and funk. When I graduated from university in 2011, I straight away got into teaching which I've continued ever since alongside being a session bass and guitar player for lots of recording artists and also running a successful function band. I like to make my approach to learning guitar as fun as possible and if you're just having lessons for a bit of fun, great! That's fine with me too.

I graduated BIMM university in 2011 and have been working as a professional musician ever since. I currently teach both guitar and bass to Diploma level covering ages from 10 upwards. If you are looking to just improve your overall playing or fancy taking up a new hobby, I'm here to help! There is no obligation to work on graded material, we can just learn the stuff that you like too! Lessons are held in my fully kitted out studio in Moreton Morrell, so if you want to play loud no problem. If you want to record a song or track your progress, no problem! Lessons are £35 PH or £20 per half hour, first lesson is half price
