We spend time refining your ear training so that you can navigate the fretboard with genuine confidence and ease. Hobbyists often appreciate how I connect physical posture with the specific electric technique required for modern genres.
I draw on my background to help you understand how melody and harmony interact within your favourite songs. We will move through chord transitions until they feel like second nature to your fingers. "Have you ever wondered how your favourite riffs actually work? My teaching style reflects 10 years of experience helping 261 students find their sound on the fretboard. I earned a Master of Music in Vocal Studies at the Royal Academy of Music, but the guitar has been a lifelong companion for my own creative expression.
Being a retired opera singer, I naturally integrate ear training and music theory into every conversation we have about technique. Power chords and electric technique are just the beginning of what we cover together. I love seeing the lightbulb moment when a student finally masters a complex transition. It is a pleasure to share this musical journey with you."
