About Nathan
The smell of rosin and old wood strings in a local studio sparked my lifelong interest in the instrument. I remember the frustration of trying to map out a barre chord for the first time. My 10 years of experience as a teacher and musician have taught me that persistence matters more than natural talent. Holding a BA in Music Production from the BIMM Institute, I bring both academic theory and practical playing to our sessions.
I have worked with 341 students to help them master ear training and acoustic technique. Guitar playing is a journey. It is a slow, rewarding process.
My approach is chilled and student-led, focusing on your specific musical interests. Please feel free to reach out if you would like to discuss a lesson.

You deserve a clear path forward when learning the guitar. I provide a practice module with every lesson to keep your momentum going. This structure helps you manage chord transitions and fingerpicking with ease.
My degree from the BIMM Institute ensures that we cover essential reading tabs and music theory correctly. I emphasise technique so you can focus on the music itself. You will find that regular practice creates progress.
I enjoy watching students gain confidence with their acoustic skills. We keep things simple and effective. That is just how it goes.
