About Ben
I am a sixth form student currently studying from home, hoping to help others on their road to mastering the guitar. I have been playing for over 6 years now, performing many concerts, including a local festival, in bands and for school.
I have strong technical ability as well as knowledge, and I am at a level where I can share my knowledge to help others others develop their skills and understanding of the guitar.

I believe that to get the most out of each lesson, and the guitar, it is best to develop technical ability first. This is best achieved through simply learning to play your favourite songs, starting with easy ones and moving onto more challenging ones. This is vital as it lays the foundations for further skills and theory to develop on. Once a strong standard of playing has been achieved, musical theory can be added to lesson, helping build technical skills and accelerate progress.
I learnt to play in exactly this way, and I swear by this method as the best way to learn the guitar!
