I would highly recommend Pete who has been teaching our son for nearly ten years - he has been truly superb! His passion for music and the guitar has certainly made a positive mark on our son who now has a really diverse interest in guitar music - old and new, folk and blues, rock and indie. The experience has been great for his confidence, and he has become a very capable player. Playing the guitar started as a hobby but thanks to Pete it is now a really important and special part of his life!

As someone in their later years, who has no sense of rhythm, or hand coordination, you'd think deciding to learn to play an instrument was fool hardy. However Pete has somehow managed to work around those barriers and actually, miraculously, taught me to beyond my expectations.

I’ve been taking guitar lessons with Pete for 4 years. I’ve played guitar for 30 years but I was stuck in a rut. I have learnt so much from Pete and am back playing in a band. Pete can is a great guitarist and has taught me a number of different styles and also introduced me to music I would never had played. He has a fantastic understanding of musical history and the guitarists who have influenced music over the last 60 years. His lessons are enjoyable with a mixture of practical playing and theory. We do lessons over zoom and also face2face if required. I can highly recommend Pete. His relaxed and flexible style make the lessons something I look forward to each week.
