About Denver
Hi! I'm Denver! I studied at Berklee College of Music and now perform classical music. I've been playing guitar for over a decade, starting with metal (Polyphia, Animals as Leaders, Metallica, etc.) and then moving to classical guitar, where I perform pieces from all periods, but mostly focus on 20th century composers. I hope to spark the same excitement in my students that classical guitar continues to bring me every day!

I like to get to know each student's personal experience and goals in our introductory lesson and tailor the lessons to each student.
I teach the fundamentals of the guitar before getting to sight reading and theory (scales, chords, arpeggios, voice leading etc.) and moving on to learning pieces the student enjoys, and developing technique from those pieces. I believe every student should develop their fretboard knowledge and technique early, so they have a strong basis for further in their guitar journey.
