About Daniel
I have previously taught beginner guitarists whilst at my secondary school and taught a few of my family friends ageing from 6-14, I also have experience mentoring students in GCSE maths and below.
I primarily play percussive/finger-style guitar but I also have experience playing various other-styles in bands and during education including jazz, pop, rock, blues, classical and various others.
I believe I'm a great tutor, I've tutored various students at different ages and believe I'm a fair and friendly person and I'm willing to answer any questions you may have when out of lesson through email or however.

Hi, I'm Dan! A University student at Sunderland University, I've studied music at GCSE and A-Level achieving an A* in performance for both and have been playing guitar for the last 12 years.
I'm primarily a finger-style/percussive guitarist but I've been playing various styles in bands, during school and for my own enjoyment. Some of these include jazz, flamenco, classical and blues, meaning I'm very confident I can cater to what the student wants to learn.
I'm looking to tutor students at a beginner/intermediate level in their own homes. I have no set plan as I want to suit each individuals needs whether that's your GCSE or A-level exams, music grading exams from Royal School of Music (RGT, Rockschool, etc.) or if you're just playing as a hobby, I'll help you to get to where you want to be. In order to make the best plan for you, during the first lesson I'll sit down and discuss what level of playing you're at and talk about what you want out of these lessons.
