About Virginia
I am an American English teacher who has been teaching English for over 12 years and living in Italy, Rome. Our first short session will be free-of-charge because I would like to get to know you and your requirements before we start. I teach classes, IELTS and TOEFl preparation classes and Grammar classes. My classes always have a very dynamic and effective approach. They aim to improve the four communication skills (speaking, listening, writing and reading) with a special reinforcement of the conversational part.

The methodology used and the activities we have online are exactly the same as those used in the face to face classes. One of the advantages of this learning is the traveling from the beginning to the next. All materials are sent to the student by email both before and after each class. This method of learning is convenient, dynamic and fun. A typical class would include 70% -80% speaking blended with stimulating language exercises and input. The aim is to provide students with the opportunity to participate in the student education, depending on the level, the different areas of interest and the varying amounts of time available to study. I give suggestions on how to study between classes.

Perfect! Virginia is a very bright person. Even though I am very shy and introverted, I didn't have much trouble talking to her. She speaks very clearly and directly, and she does so in a way that is very easy to understand. In half an hour, she managed to get a pretty clear idea of my limitations and needs. I will definitely continue this journey with her, curious to see how we will address my many shortcomings. She certainly managed to encourage me!

Perfect! My first thought of Virginia after our first lesson was "What a smiling girl!". I felt immediately comfortable. It was suprisingly easy to talk without panicking.

I have known several English teachers, but Virigia is without doubt the best, because she manages to combine language learning and fun, which also helps to memorise vocabulary and pronunciations.
