About GEORGE
Hi, my name is George! I'm currently on a gap year with plans to start a Law degree with Spanish. I'm half Spanish on my mum's side, which let me coast a little during my GCSE, but starting A-level Spanish, I had to focus and plan out a structure to help secure a high grade. I think a good plan and consistency can get you a lot, as seen in my 60/60 score in the Speaking section of my Spanish A-level. Anyone can improve, and if you choose me as your tutor, I'll hope to make the journey of improvement an enjoyable process.

My style of teaching is geared towards exam success and means that all of my lessons are carefully designed to maximise your chances in terms of what will contribute most to your score. I tailor lessons to each student's strengths and areas for improvement, using a combination of targeted practice, active recall, exam-style questions, and clear explanations to build both confidence and fluency. My goal is to make every minute of the lesson as productive as possible.
Lessons last usually 50 minutes – long enough to include new material, practise important skills and review what was covered, but not too long to feel overwhelming.
Having had great success as a student myself, in addition to my experience with tutoring, I can provide you with lessons of high academic standard. I received a Grade 9 in GCSE Spanish and A* at A Level, and I am half Spanish, therefore I have an excellent command of the language and culture. I also have the experience of working as a tutor, having tutored peers in my school's tutoring programme.
I provide lessons suitable for all levels from beginner to A Level, including GCSE, A Level preparation, grammar, speaking, writing, reading, listening, IRP and exam technique.
