About Joshua
My journey to teaching Computer Science began 12 years ago when I earned my BA and MA in Professional Writing, before going to South East Asia to teach English to high-achievers in the private schools for 3 years, which a specialism of writing.
But Computer Science kept attracting my attention, so while I taught English in South East Asia, I took several online courses with Harvard University Online, made many projects, and entered the world of programming.
I then worked in the Cryptocurrency sector for 3 years, building web apps and dynamic websites, while also maintaining some online 1-to-1 tutorials with my students from South East Asia.
Now I've been teaching computer science for 3 years, and I absolutely LOVE it! I hope you will join me to make many projects and build your portfolio!

Learn with practical projects which will go into your portfolio. Start small by making some simple and fun games, then grow your ideas into larger projects with my guidance.
In my opinion, learning computer science should be done with a little bit of theory and then a lot of practice to really use the skills to make things.
