About Anushka
Born and raised in Mumbai, I found a home in London in 2022.
I started practicing Yoga in 2018 after resigning from a job that left me with a burnout. I thought it would help feel me more active in life, but to my surprise, those weekly classes became my safe haven.
It soon became the way I reconnected with myself to become more aware of my mind, body and spirituality.
I practiced more and more as I started to see myself feeling better. From helping me deal with anxiety, insomnia, period pain and muscle stiffness - yoga changed my life completely.
I decided to pursue a teacher training course in 2020 after realising the good that it can do to people.
My aim is to help people get to know themselves better and see yoga as not just a workout but a way to help them lead a more self-sufficient life.

I'm a 500RYT certified by Yoga Alliance. I did my training in India, specialising in Hatha, Ashtanga, Restorative, Mindfulness and Meditation.
My classes are a mixture of strengthening, flexibility and active muscle work. I especially work on posture alignment and correction. My classes help practitioners take Yoga at their own pace and get a better understanding of their body and mind through it.
As a passionate Yoga instructor, I bring you a wealth of experience and a safe space to practice.
I believe that Yoga goes beyond the practice of poses and equips you with tools that help you lead a self-sufficient life beyond the mat.
