About Rich
I am dedicated to inspirational teaching. Students can be confident that I will be well prepared, on-time, and ready to give what is needed to create a successful lesson.
I prepare through additional research and differing teaching techniques. It is important not to be predictable. I believe learning should be informative, but not boring or stale. A student will be fully engaged when a lesson is challenging and to various degrees spontaneous.

I desire to ignite a passion for learning. When a student has a strong "why" for the subject they are studying, they are more likely to discipline themselves to engage at a greater level.
I always start a lesson with a fun exercise, or a relaxing conversation in order to decompress, and to clear the mind from any other daily activities.
I love teaching. I love to see students achieve new knowledge. I am a great coach and motivator. I balance a challenging lesson with encouragement. I don't accept mediocrity, but students understand, their hard work will pay off.
