About Ruby
I have been online tutoring for almost three years, and love it. It makes me so happy to see a student go from a 4 to a 7, but more than anything, I love to see students enjoy English, understand the subject, and feel confident in their writing ability. Being good at reading, writing, and understanding the basics of a text are skills everyone needs- not only to get into college, but to thrive at university and get a job. Everything you will learn in my lessons you will take with you to pass your exams, and into the rest of your life.

- Lessons are for anyone aged 13-16, up to GCSE level. -I can also do lessons for anyone with SEN, and needing more support as they get to grips with the GCSE curriculum. -Lessons are guided by you. At the end of each lesson, we will go over what you'd like to cover next session. It could be Macbeth, Poetry, or Language paper revision. It is up to you. I will then make a bespoke plan for the next lesson. My lessons are a mixture of exam practice, discussion based learning, explainers from me, mind maps and revision activities, and the planning and writing of essays. - Each lesson lasts an hour, but depending on your schedule, we can book more in depending on how much extra support you might need for your exams. If one lesson a week is all you need, that's great. If you need three, that is also great. I can work around you and your schedule, to help you pass those exams, and improve your English.
