About Steve
I started my career as an Avionics technician in the R.A.F. I worked on Nimrod aircraft. After about 8 years I got the chance to move onto the software side (still on Nimrods). On leaving the R.A.F, I continued software development for some major companies. One company gave me the task of becoming their Software Quality Manager with the challenge of getting their ISO 9001 certificate for software development. This was accomplished at the first attempt. My specialist areas are programming and databases.

I work at the student's pace. My lessons are designed to be easy to understand by breaking them into small subsections. I encourage questions at any time. Examples are included to easily understand concepts. If required, exercises can be for the student to tackle and for me to review and comment.
