About Jonas
My name is Jonas Sommer Engell Friis, and I look forward to sharing my knowledge and experience with you. I have both a general upper secondary education and a vocational education as a chef, but my greatest passion has always been the human body and movement. I started my physiotherapy studies in February, which has given me a fantastic opportunity to deepen my understanding of how we can use the body optimally.
I have practiced gymnastics for 23 years and have worked as an instructor on several occasions. This has taught me both discipline and the joy of seeing others develop. I want to share my knowledge with you because I believe that movement is the key to a healthy and active life. I am passionate about teaching and helping others understand how they can make the best use of their body—whether to improve performance or simply to find more joy in everyday life.

As a teacher, I strive to create a learning environment where there is room for both development and discipline. I have plenty of energy and enthusiasm to motivate and engage my students, while maintaining a firm hand when structure and clear boundaries are needed. I believe in balancing support with expectations—students should feel safe and inspired, but they should also know when something is expected of them. I adapt my approach to each individual and ensure that everyone has the opportunity to get the most out of the teaching.
