I’ve really enjoyed learning with Luke. His teaching style put me at ease straight away — he has a calm, patient way of explaining things that makes even the first steps feel natural. What I appreciated most is how he adapted the lessons to me. He didn’t just follow a set curriculum; he brought customised music sheets so I could learn songs I was actually interested in, even as a complete beginner.

It made the whole process far more enjoyable and motivating. I’ve progressed faster than I expected, and that’s entirely down to how approachable, flexible, and encouraging Luke is. I’d honestly recommend him to anyone looking to learn piano in a relaxed but effective way.

I have been a student of Luke’s only for 3 months this year since I had to move to another country. At the beginning it was very difficult for me to get used to the UK notations (using C,D, E instead of do, re, mi) . He was very patient and always making sure I get everything right. Every lesson felt very chill and nice as he would always make sure not to only stick to theory but also make it feel fun and cozy (we’d also play duets which I enjoyed a lot). I highly recommend Luke as a piano tutor!

My daughter has been having lessons with Luke for the last 18 months. Luke is patient and trustworthy and my daughter is playing the piano beautifully with confidence. This is so much so that we recommended Luke to a friend and he taught their child also. Additionally, I started lessons myself so we just can not recommend Luke enough !
