About Mikaylee
My name is Mikaylee. I have a passion for painting, running, and reading. I find joy in spending time outdoors, whether it's fishing or hiking. My love for teaching was inspired by my first-grade teacher, who played a significant role in helping me learn to read and write. I am excited to share my knowledge and inspire young minds as an educator.

For k-3, learning can be a challenge, so I've broken it in 7 parts:
1. Warm up (talk about the students day etc.)
2. Introduction (what we will be covering)
3. Guided practice (going over our plan for the session and practicing together)
4. Play a game, or do something fun to help them remember
5. Review what we have covered
6. Independent practice
7. Feedback (what was hard, what we need to work on still, what they liked)
