About Robert
I have been teaching ESL and Academic English courses for over 20 years in Toronto colleges and York University. I have also tutored students. I am TESL Ontario certified, which means that I can teach in Ontario colleges, and have a PhD in Education. My focus has been on immigrants and overseas students in Canada, but I have also taught Canadian college students. I am organized, professional, and friendly.

My teaching is based on student-centred activities and exercises. What sets me apart as a tutor is the fact that I have taught everything from Basic ESL to university essay writing courses. I have also taught a a range of students, including newcomers to Canada, overseas college and university students in Canada, and Canadians.
