About Paul
Music is such an amazing outlet for people of any age! It's good for mental, cognitive and physical well-being as well as being an emotional and creative outlet. Since picking up guitar as a teenager it has become my livelihood through performance, production, composition and education! I have been teaching music to foundation degree level (Level 5) for 3 years and worked in the industry for over a decade.

I produce music and played in bands for 15 years so I can help to steer you towards becoming the player you want to be! There are so many styles of music and techniques to try and I would love to be part of your journey - discovering the music that you love to play. We'll start with talking about what you would like to learn and where you are starting from, total beginners or more intermediate is fine! Maybe you're an advanced player but you feel that your guitar theory knowledge is lacking? Let's talk! Practice is key, so we'll chat at the beginning, then we will try some songs/pieces, then we will do some exercises and then I will give you some things to work on for your next lesson! When you can play music, it's almost like having a constant companion.
