About Ratana

I am an A-level student currently doing Biology, Chemistry, and Maths. During my GCSEs, I thoroughly enjoyed doing chemistry the most mainly because I find the experiments interesting and the contents in both years were challenging, so that motivates me to work even harder. Now I want to give advice and techniques for other students who are anxious about their grades in Chemistry or perhaps want an extra push in some harder topics. I am more than happy to help and create a positive learning environment ensuring the students are confident when they enter the exam hall.

About the lesson

I have finished my GCSEs and enjoyed Chemistry the most, which is why I want to pass on techniques and help other peers to do great on their exam. Lessons and help for Year 10 and Year 11 students. Typical length of lesson = 1 hour. Techniques used = Content teaching and focusing on areas the student might find most difficult. Answering past papers exam questions and model answers. Focused also on quantitative chemistry (calculating moles, volumes, Mr, balancing chemical equations, etc.). I will further discuss with the student what areas they are confident in and what areas they find difficult or need improvement and work from there.
