My teaching methods are based on Russian violin school. By studying Grigoriev, Menuhin an other works of teaching violin and working as a teacher in music school I have got really good feedback from my previous students.
Also, I have skills in piano, music theory and music literature, so if you’re instrested in studying any of those subjects besides violin please don’t hesitate to ask my any questions.
I’m a professional violinist from Moscow and laureate of international competitions. Graduated from Gnessin State Musical College in summer 2018 class of professor Vladislav Igolinsky (Kogan’s student). Currently I am studying violin in RNCM with professor Yuri Torchinsky (head of the BBC Philharmonic).
Also I finished a one year course of children’s psychology and the methodology of teaching violin.
I am a highly motivated person with excellent exam results in all the music subjects and violin across my College Diploma. I am currently looking to apply my skills and knowledge in music teaching to grow as a professional and get new experience. I received a good feedback report from my employer in music school where I was working and current violin teacher Yuri Torchinsky due to my hard work, knowledge of music theory and history of music, piano skills and ability to learn quick.
I was living in Russian during my studies in Moscow, so I can speak Russian language and can teach you! Also, I know Polish and basic German.
I play at weddings, Birthdays and other events with as a soloist and in groups, but I was always passionate about teaching and I have an age ability to understand children’s needs due to the fact that I finished one year curse of Children’s psychology.
Stacy is very reliable in professional both privately and professionally. She has finished a great school with good grades, is very passionate and understandable of classical music and loves sharing that passion with others. I can't think of anyone else I'd recommend who can be always on time and as good of a teacher as Stacy
Stacy’s teaching style makes it easy to follow and understand difficult material. She is always on time and polite, prepared for the lesson with a lesson plan and answers all questions I have. My understanding of the material is much deeper. I’m very glad I found Stacy and I definitely recommend her as a tutor.
Stacy was the first teacher I’ve found on this website. She agreed to give me lessons by Skype. I was worried that theory of music will be hard to understand for me, but after four weeks of studying I can say that I am happy to recommend Stacy to all my friends. She is a really passionate teacher and knows her job.
Stacy was my violin teacher for the past 6 months and she showed herself as a talented teacher. She agreed to give me lessons at my place and come twice a week. Stacy always makes the lesson interesting and informative. Her knowledge of music history is fascinating! Also, she is a really nice persin to work with and she was never late for the lessons. I really recommend Stacy Jarvis as a music teacher.
Stacy Jarvis is really organised and highly educated teacher. She was teaching my daughter last year violin and music theory for beginners. Stacy used her own methodology of teaching based on individual approach for kids. I was really pleased that she agreed to give lessons at our house in Stockport at the weekends, her schedule is really flexible which is really good for busy parents like me. I highly recommend Stacy!
