About Isla
Regarding the way I teach, I prefer to keep feedback immediate and direct. You will find we address your vocal range extension and vibrato control in a very granular way.
My background at RAM informs how I approach diction and articulation for singers of all levels. I always integrate microphone technique and rhythm as we build your repertoire.
I provide a personalised song list built around each student's range to ensure your growth. It is practical work. We stay focused on the physiology of your voice.

Singing often feels like an act of vulnerability where the smallest tension can alter the entire sound. I admit that my own path was shaped by a constant back and forth between the rigour of RAM and the structural analysis required for languages. I have now supported 357 students through this delicate process.
Whether you are an absolute beginner or an advanced learner, I help you find better rhythm, phrasing, and performance confidence. We work on breathing control and diction to ensure your vocal health remains a priority. I enjoy watching students discover a sense of ease in their range. It is genuinely satisfying to see someone connect with a piece of music.
