About Gianna
Working through 13 years of teaching has been quite a process, honestly. I completed a Bachelor of Music at the Cleveland Institute of Music while maintaining my piano ARCT.
My training follows the German tradition for violin, which informs my approach to detail. Students often find my neurodivergent-affirming methods helpful for processing information.
I keep my focus on both ADHD and autism adaptations throughout our time together. My practice remains grounded in the realities of musical development rather than rigid expectations. You will find that I prioritize clarity and methodical pacing over rapid, unsustainable progress. My goal is to ensure you feel supported in your unique way of navigating the instrument.

Clarity in tone production and bowing technique often feels elusive until it finally clicks. Sometimes I wonder if students know how much of their sound comes from intentional physical awareness.
We will work on spiccato, staccato, and consistent vibrato to build a foundation that lasts. Intonation and ear training are woven into every part of our work together.
For those focused on ABRSM or Trinity exams, we will treat sight reading as a practical, daily habit. Orchestral preparation becomes a chance to refine your musicality alongside the technical mechanics. Teens and working professionals find this structure helps them stay consistent even during busy weeks.
I provide a monthly progress report so parents stay informed about the specific milestones we reach. Seeing the growth in my returning learners is truly the highlight of my week.
