Algebra 1 and Algebra 2
I first like to assess the students prior knowledge and their level and understanding of the concepts so I can meet each individual students needs.
I like to ask the students what problems/lesson they specifically would like to work on. I model examples of problems that the student in struggling with, then have them practice for them to show understanding and mastery before we move on to the next concept.
If needed, I provide student with extra practice.
