I think that that a language must first of all be lived, and for that what better than to practice it? Talking can quickly be scary, and we can be afraid to start, because "I don't have enough vocabulary, my accent is not perfect", whatever ... You have to start first, and the vocabulary as well as the grammar come later, including listening, films, etc.
I therefore suggest that we focus here on the dialogue, however simple it may be at the beginning, and at the same time analyze and watch episodes of series, songs by your favorite artists, read excerpts from works literary, etc. To have tested all this, I guarantee you that it works, as long as we keep a regular rhythm and that we are motivated!
