About Joyce
Teaching exists because the hum of a server room provides a specific clarity that code documentation often lacks. My journey began with a BBA Accounting degree from Columbia Business School before I pivoted into the technical side of the industry.
I have taught 367 students how to find patterns in chaos using regression modeling and statistics for data science. Navigating dashboards in Power BI and scikit-learn becomes second nature when you focus on the reasoning behind the syntax. Mastering data cleaning, data visualization, SQL for analytics, and model evaluation feels satisfying when the output aligns with business goals. Connecting complex data theory to tangible outcomes remains the most enjoyable part of my day.
