About Tharshika
I am a Health and Social care national extended diploma student. I have given lessons to students in lower years for this subject for 1 year. I have a great understanding of this subject and have achieved distinctions throughout my course. I make my teaching very fun and make sure the students are engaged during lessons, in order for them to be happy and willing to learn with me and for them to have a better understanding of the subject and do well in their studies.

My teaching methods are, flipped classrooms, direct instructions, and personalized teaching, as I aim to teach to meet my students' individual needs and provide them straight forward and easy to learn lessons, to help them gain more knowledge on the subject. I base my classes on one part of a topic at a time, as this will allow my students to get a better understanding of each part, and will be able to work through the sections slowly at their own pace instead of rushing and working on big sections of topics. I approach each topic by first looking at the basics of the topic, and will then teach my student they key definitions and facts which they must know to understand the other sections clearly. I ensure my students are involved and are comfortable asking any questions they may have. I start from the basics as this will help my students have a clear understanding of the topics, and will be able to find the topic much easier.
