I am a Health and Social Care level 3 BTEC extended diploma student offering tutoring to students taking health and social at GCSE level. I can also offer basic maths tutoring and functional skills.

About Courtney
I am a student at sixth form with experience working in a hospital as part of my course so I am able to communicate effectively with a range of people. I am also a food and beverage assistant so I have very good people skills and I put full effort into achieving my personal and professional goals. I play two instruments one of which at grade 5 standard and play within a symphonic wind band. I have tutored students before in Health and Social Care and they have achieved high goals in their academic work and also their personal skill set as they have become more confident in themselves and their work. I have also tutored a young girl with autism and learning difficulties who also progressed far in her work and personal skill set.

When teaching I like to break down topics into catagories in which the student knows, and doesn’t know. This helps me to understand they students knowledge so far and I take each topic then separately. My method is to make sure the student is as confident as possible in the work they are doing and to make sure they fully understand. I also like to ask the student their preferred way of learning so I can include that within my methodology.
