About Amy
I am a qualified Psychotherapist. I graduated in 2012 with an honours degree in Counselling Psychology and went on to complete relevant postgraduate studies to enhance my training. I have eight years of experience working with mental health and general health and wellbeing.
Some areas I have worked with are; drug and alcohol addiction, personality disorders, psychosis, trauma, PTSD, anxiety and panic attacks, stress management and sex related issues.
I have a special interest in how trauma is stored in the body.

My method is similar to coaching. I will similarly carry out an assessment as I do with therapy to assess your needs. I then incorporate aspects of CBT for things like negative thoughts. We may look at things like diet and problem solving, relaxation and mindfulness to name a view. Ultimately I will be your coach and teach you to become your own coach.
