About
I have an MBA degree with a concentration in Finance and Accounting from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. I obtained the CPA certificate from the State of Illinois, but I am not an active CPA.
I have extensive experience and deep industry knowledge in the financial services industry. Highlights include leading investment analysis for a boutique Registered Investment Adviser, driving the growth and profitability of insurance products, etc.
With a passion for education in Macroeconomics, Finance, and Accounting, I enjoy tutoring these subjects. While I am patient in explaining the details, my strength lies in highlighting the key points and helping students understand the reasoning behind the concept and how the concept is applied to the real world.
While working with students, I put emphasis on building their confidence and improving their problem solving skills.
