About Cassidy
Hello! I am Cassidy Concannon and I am currently a second grade teacher in Alpharetta. Next year I’ll be going into my fourth year of teaching and love it more every year! I love helping students understand the fundamentals of math or reading in order for them to succeed as they build on their knowledge!

I teach all subjects in the classroom! In math, we focused on standards, such as decomposing numbers within 10 and adding two digit numbers. In reading, we focused on standards that related to fluency and comprehension of the text. We also focused a lot on phonics, which helps students focus on manipulating words by adding or deleting letter sounds. This aids in fluency as students begin to read text!
