About Fleur
Hello, my name is Fleur, and I am fortunate to have my dream job as an English teacher. I am incredibly passionate about my work and I have been in the industry for over a year. I first realised my passion for teaching, when I tutored students through their English GCSE's and joined a mentoring program that supported students who needed extra lessons.
I also did an English Language A -level. This included English language development in children, language analysis, writing articles, and short stories. After that, I worked as a Client Manager for 4 years. This job was centered around writing and communicating. Although, I thoroughly enjoyed my job I still wanted to pursue a career in teaching. With this in mind, I completed a teaching English as a Foreign Language diploma.
All this experience means I can help students of all ages and abilities and demonstrates my commitment to teaching. Please feel free to reach out for a lesson

I have a student-centered approach to learning. I like to ensure that the student's needs are at the center of every lesson. This helps students to develop the skills they need to communicate effectively and get to grips with the English language.
My lessons are an hour long and I like to make the lesson as interactive and entertaining as possible. I always begin the lesson with a fun warm-up activity and include 1 to 2 additional interactive activities throughout the lesson. This is very popular with my students as it makes the lessons more engaging and learning fun. This approach also means I can teach all ages and abilities.
I have completed a Diploma in teaching English as a Foreign Language and I have an English Language A-level.
