About Marwa
Hello! I’m Maroua, a native English speaker from Dublin, Ireland. CELTA Certified.
I hold a Master’s degree in Applied Linguistics and a Bachelor’s degree in English Language, and I currently work as a university lecturer. With my academic background and teaching experience, I help students understand English clearly and use it confidently in real-life situations.
I design my lessons based on each student’s goals and level, whether you want to improve speaking fluency, pronunciation, grammar, vocabulary, or academic English. My teaching style is structured, supportive, and focused on building confidence step by step.
I live between Dublin and London, which has given me strong cross-cultural awareness and experience working with students from diverse backgrounds.
In my lessons, you can expect:
• Clear explanations
• Practical speaking practice
• Personalised lesson plans
• A patient, friendly, and motivating approach
Whether you are a beginner, preparing for studies or work, or simply want to speak more confidently, I’d be happy to help.
Book a trial lesson with me I look forward to meeting you
I have over 7 years of experience teaching English as a Second Language (ESL) in a variety of academic and professional settings.
At university level, I worked as a Teaching Assistant for 3 years and later as a Lecturer for 2 years, where I taught English and linguistics-related courses, supported students academically, and delivered structured lessons to diverse groups of learners.
In addition to university teaching, I have worked in several language centres, teaching students of different ages, levels, and backgrounds. This experience has helped me develop a flexible teaching style and adapt my lessons to meet individual learning goals.
Ready to reach your English goals? Book a lesson with me and let’s make learning fun, practical, and tailored just for you! Whether it’s for business, school, or personal growth, I’ll guide you every step of the way so you can gain confidence, speak naturally, and see real results. Let’s achieve your goals together!
