My teaching methodology changes depending on the age group and ability if my student(s). Generally speaking I like to start with a fun warm up activity to jog the memory. Then I move on to the learning objective and make this very clear. After a detailed explanation I like to do an activity to consolidate the learning and to assess the students understanding. Once completed I often introduce a few quick games again to practice what we have learnt in a fun and engaging manner.
I graduated from the University of Stirling with a 2:1 bachelors degree in History. I lived in Foshan, China for just over 1 year and taught English as a second language to both children and adults. Teaching English has been so rewarding and I would love to continue doing so.
