About Lauren
I currently work at a mainstream secondary school as an art and graphic design GCSE and A level teacher. My students learn on the EDUQAS exam board, but I have experience of working with AQA and am flexible when it comes to working with students who have specific standards to meet. My previous experience is varied. I ran my own business, working with adults in care and residential homes, with students in school referral centres, within primary school settings with deaf students and with children in a flexible 'play and learn' environment. I’ve also designed art sessions to deliver to adults with degenerative diseases, alongside scientists contributing to PHD research projects.

I offer a wide range of tutoring options, from more traditional watercolour techniques, to more context based, contemporary art responses. I also teach graphic design at GCSE and A level. I’d love to work with you if you’re building a portfolio for a new job, a place at university or at college; but equally I can accommodate hobby artists or adults and young people hoping to learn a new skill for enjoyment. I offer bespoke, one-off or long-term session schedules and love meeting and teaching new people, so get in touch and we can chat about the options together.
