About Salman
I am a fourth-year student in the Faculty of Medicine - Translational and Molecular Medicine program at the University of Ottawa. I've been an English tutor all throughout high school and upon starting university, I started to do private tutoring in high school Chemistry, Biology and Physics for 3 years. Furthermore, I am also an academic Writing Mentor at the University of Ottawa where I help university students who are writing advanced papers in their respective fields. Overall, I have accumulated over 2,000 hours of tutoring in the past 8 or so years and have numerous testimonies of my tutoring abilities which have only improved over the years.

I am a firm believer in interactive learning. As somebody who can get distracted easily, I've mastered the ability to make lessons exciting and interactive. A typical lesson plan starts well before the tutoring session - where I will share resources that you will find beneficial as well as a glimpse of what we will be covering in the session. Throughout the session, I attempt to provide plenty of active learning through examples, analogies, straightforward mini-quizzes and ensure that you have a deep understanding of the material. I am also a believer in providing you with the right mentoring so that you can benefit well after the session is over and build important fundamental skills that will benefit you in the long run. In other words I tutor till Mastery is achieved.
