About El

I enjoy learning and working in the marketing industry. My area of interests are marketing research, consumer behaviours, and behavioural economics. Nonetheless, teaching has always been my passion. I have always liked interacting with teachers, tutors, and professors throughout my school and university days. Seeing myself grow as an individual because of their help motivates me to do the same for all of you.

One thing that can brighten up my days is knowing a student of mine does well in their classes and is happy with their grades.

About the lesson

I usually adapt my teaching style that would suit you the best. For theories, I would be happy to explain concepts you may not understand and I will make sure to be as thorough and clear as possible until you understand. For practicals, we could go through sample questions from the lecture materials and if you are still unsure, I could give you some practice questions to do in your own time (I will check them when you are done, just send them through). To be more time efficient, it would be much appreciated if you could send me the materials that you want to go through together before our session. I will look through them and it will definitely save a lot of time.

Lessons would typically go for about 1 hour per session. I offer weekly fixed schedule lessons and also one-off lessons, whichever you prefer.

I have been tutoring since I was in high school (about 5 years now) and have taught a range of students from primary all the way to university level.

El is very friendly and encouraging. She knows how to turn accounting into a fun and interesting subject, especially for someone like me who hates numbers but had to do accounting because it is a compulsory unit in my university. For starters, she does not make me feel like I was asking dumb questions, which makes me a lot more comfortable and confident . I learned way more in our 3 hours session than in university.
