About Eleanor
I am a dedicated and compassionate tutor with a specialism in Special Educational Needs (SEN) and many years of experience as a Teaching Assistant. My passion for education stems from my desire to support every learner in reaching their full potential, regardless of their challenges or learning style. Therefore, my lessons are all adapted to support the individual student.
Throughout my career, I have worked with students with a wide range of needs, including autism, ADHD, dyslexia, and other learning difficulties. I am skilled in adapting lessons to suit each student’s abilities, using creative and individualised approaches to ensure they feel supported and confident.
As a former TA, I have a deep understanding of classroom dynamics and the importance of collaboration with teachers, parents, and caregivers. This background allows me to bring a holistic approach to tutoring, helping students make meaningful progress in their academic journey.
Whether I am supporting students with specific learning needs or helping them build general confidence in their studies, my approach is always patient, understanding, and tailored to the individual. I strive to create a positive and inclusive learning environment where students feel empowered to ask questions and grow both academically and personally.
On the weekends, you'll find me walking our family dog, reading in my summer house, or swimming.

I am committed to all my student's success, and ensure my lessons are inspiring and engaging. I regard my teaching style as boosting the student's confidence, as I believe all students are capable of achieving, my role is to support them to have self-confidence and apply the skills they have learnt to their learning. I treat all students as the individuals they are, and adapt their learning to reflect this. I believe that a mixture of personalised learning, manageable steps and support is the key to achieving.
