The idea is that we talk about life or specific topics you might have in mind, improving your listening and speaking skills. This way you can feel more comfortable when speaking / listening to English in proficiency tests such as the IELTS or TOEFL; in job interviews; daily activities; or whichever scenario you might want to use the language. Hi! My name is Pedro. I have been an English teacher for 2 years now. I am currently finishing my master's degree in Geology at the University of São Paulo (USP) and, for this reason, I am sticking to conversation classes.
My English experience:
- I did 5 years of English classes at Brasas English Course as a teenager;
- I went to the UK for one year as an undergraduate (science without borders) to study geology at the University of Bristol;
- I went to Uganda for 6 months to work in an NGO where I taught biology, chemistry, and physics for students from more than 20 countries in sub-Saharan Africa. Pretty much everything I did there was in English;
- In my master's, I have a British supervisor with whom I talk very often. My entire dissertation and all presentations I did during my degree were in English.
