About Marilyn
Hi! Welcome to my class! I was looking forward to meet you. I am Marilyn Canlapan and I'll be your teacher this year in English subjects. I am from Houston, Texas. I was born and raised in the Philippines. I have 25 years of amazing teaching elementary students. I love dogs and cats, hope you like them too.

My teaching methods and techniques that I will be using are games/gamification, independent and collaborative learning, online whiteboard, elearning content mobile, presentations, and engage with my students online. My online lesson plan has 5E parts. Teaching online appeals to me because it intersects my passion for teaching with the conveniences of modern technology. It allows me to connect with my students from diverse cultural backgrounds, which I find incredibly rewarding.
