About Kaustav
Hello, I’m Kaustav, a professional international artist with over 20 years of experience in drawing & painting. While I have worked with many mediums, watercolor remains my favorite for its transparency, emotion, and expressive power.
I have showcased my work through live painting events, exhibitions, and international programs across different countries. In 2025, I entered the Asia Book of Records by creating 70 watercolor paintings within one hour.

My Teaching Approach
As a teacher, my main goal is to help students understand art in a simple, practical, and enjoyable way. I believe that everyone can learn to draw and paint with the right guidance, patience, and encouragement. I focus on building strong fundamentals while also helping students develop their own artistic style and confidence.
Teaching Techniques and Methods
I use a step-by-step teaching method, starting from basic drawing concepts such as proportions, shapes, and observation skills. I explain techniques through live demonstrations, visual references, and guided practice. I encourage students to ask questions and learn by doing. I also give regular feedback and simple exercises to help improve skills between classes.
Structure of a Typical Class
Each class usually begins with a short introduction and warm-up exercise. Then I demonstrate the main topic, such as facial features, watercolor techniques, or shading. After the demonstration, students practice along with me. The class ends with a review, feedback, and tips for improvement. Homework or practice tasks are shared when needed.
My Special Features as a Teacher
What makes my teaching unique is my real-world experience as a professional and international artist. I combine technical knowledge with artistic expression, helping students understand not only how to paint but why certain techniques work. I adapt my teaching style based on each student’s level and learning speed.
