About Colleen
I am a QTS- qualified teacher with over 10 years of teaching and tutoring experience, helping students build confidence and achieve strong results. I develop excellent relationships with pupils and pride myself on being patient, adapting explanations and revisiting concepts in different ways until full understanding is achieved.
My tuition is tailored to each student's individual target areas to secure rapid improvement. Initial assessment identify strengths, gaps in knowledge the most effective plan for success. Monthly progress reports keep both students and parents fully updated and focused on upcoming GCSE exams.
Discounted rates available for students booking 2 or 3 lessons per week. Regular weekly sessions help build confidence, strengthen skills, and accelerate progress ahead of GCSE exams.

Colleen really inspired enthusiasm in my daughter for a subject that she had, up until then, found stuffy and rigid—boring. Colleen managed to make her see that English was fun and that words could be beautiful and help us communicate more effectively by preparing lessons that were relevant and around subjects that her pupil (my daughter) related to and was interested in. It certainly took a load off me, and with this change of attitude came success. With success came a happier child and a happier mother. Thank you, Colleen.
