About Hannah
I am a confident, proactive private tutor who thrives on teaching English from Primary to A Level!
Holding a BA in English Literature with Drama and Theatre Studies and studied these for at least 5 years, I would say I love what I have learned about the subject and still do to this day!
All my students from 2018-19 achieved grades of 4-9. But all of them improved at least 2 boundaries under my tutelage. This is proof that what I do works.
I have been a student teacher of Ballroom and Latin dance. I have coached various partnerships during this time to improvement and success.

My teaching methodology involves focusing on the areas that my students really need help with. They don't need to worry about all the complicated language of exam boards and mark schemes. If they don't understand the basics, then it's all going to go pear shaped before we've even started.
I have developed my own PLASTIC methodology in order to get across a lot of the main ideas of a poem or novel for example. This enables me to probe and push my students in their knowledge and later on exam revision.
Working on the gaps in order to build bridges and knowledge is key!
