I prioritize code-switching as my main strategy as I am focusing on low-proficiency students. I feel that translanguaging and code-switching are effective in ensuring the students' understanding. I have dealt with all types of students in the high school I have taught. I believe the low-proficiency ones need a little help to discover their ability in all four skills.
