About Sarah
I am an experienced teacher but also a passionate linguist who believes everyone should have the opportunity to learn. I have many years of teaching in secondary schools under my belt and I know that learning a language can be a real challenge, feel daunting and push you outside of your comfort zone. For this reason my lessons are always relaxed, informal and I foster an atmosphere where making mistakes is ok! I truly believe that mistakes are the way we learn. I am supportive, patient and understanding and I find this approach inspires confidence in learners and they always enjoy their sessions and leave with a real sense of achievement.

Lessons for anyone who wants to learn! GCSE students, preparing for exams, adult learners, beginners. All welcome. I am an experienced private tutor who has worked in secondary schools as a teacher and also as a private tutor for several years. I specialise in GCSE preparation. Sessions are diagnostic and offer a tailor-made experience for the learner based on needs and areas they wish to improve. For exam students, I offer a wide range of past papers from the most popular exam boards to help build confidence and experience in all four aspects of assessment. Lessons are 1 hour long.
