About Catherine
I am a financial management graduate with experience in business and have a Level 5 certificate in Tutoring English as a second language. I'm a native English speaker and am passionate about teaching English, including Business English, for reading and listening comprehension, speaking fluency, writing, business language skills. Student I've coached had excellent results in their academic subjects. I assess clients needs and, working with them, develop programs and lessons to meet their aims.

I base my program and classes on clients needs and aims, working with them to assess and adjust their progress. My methods are reliant on clients language levels, their occupations and their topics of interest. Classes for form are based on the PPP method of teaching - present, practise and produce. Classes for function aim to have more student participation and talking time. I work with interesting topics and engaging activities as well as relevant assignments with authentic materials that support clients clients comprehension and fluency in functional situations.
